Sequential Numbers or LEheidi walker
LE or sequential numbering is a popular thing with pins. LE simply stands for “Limited Edition”. If you find a pin that has “5/100” that means your pin is #5 out of 100 pins made. There is a very large pin trading world out there. These LE’s are very important. Buyers like to know that their pin is one of a limited amount. As these pins sell out they become harder to find.
On pin trading pages you will often see rare pins being sold for $30+ and as high as $100+ depending on the design and fan following. There are many artists who choose not to add LE to their pins. This doesn’t decrease the value of those pins. As long as there is a buyer, there will be value to every pin. That’s the beauty of the pin world.
