The Run for Rhabdo Research 5k event at Peck Farm Park in Geneva, IL, was a day of unity and purpose. Participants, from runners to families with strollers, gathered not only for physical challenges but to raise funds for Avery's Rhabdo 'Blast' Project. Avery, a young superhero, had recently conquered Rhabdomyosarcoma after a battle that began at just 10 months of age. Dream Maker Pins' support, including gold ribbon enamel pins, silicone wristbands and custom awards. The event was a resounding success, raising over $3,200, with more contributions welcome.
